Standalone EMS
STAND ALONE EMS ARE AMBULANCES OR EMS PROVIDERS THAT ARE NOT PART OF A FIRE DEPT. Tri-County Ambulance Service. Based in Northern Indiana, these ambulances are primarily used for inter-facility transport and transport to and from nursing homes and hospitals. They also have ALS units that can be used for emergency(911) or critical care transport. They also deploy for wildfires.
